Deep Cleansing Facials are a classic type of facial, typically involving cleansing, steam, facial massage, facial mask, serum and moisturizer. Some therapists will perform extractions, removing blackheads and whiteheads. Deep Cleansing Facials are a good choice if your skin lacks moisture and is prone to break outs.
Deep Pore Cleansing $60
Deep Cleansing Facials are a great way to rejuvenate your skin: dead skin cells are removed, pores are unclogged, blood flow is stimulated, blackheads are extracted and the skin feels oh so soft. For best results, book a facial every 6-8 weeks.
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
GtycoLic/Mandelic/Lactic Peels $60
Mandelic acid's antibacterial properties are extremely helpful in treating acne. It also helps to regulate sebum production and in turn decrease the occurrence of breakouts. Some Estheticians combine salicylic acid with mandelic acid to use as a superficial skin peel to treat acne.
Jessner Peel $150-$175
A Jessner peel is a superficial peel that is used to treat photoaging, age spots, acne, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma and freckles. Jessner's solution was originally formulated by Dr. Max Jessner and has been in use for over 100 years. He formulated this solution out of several different chemicals to reduce the toxic effects of each individual component.
The chemical is applied to your skin and then removed after some time. The top layer of your skin peels off as a result, revealing newer, more youthful-looking skin. Flaking/peeling will not occur for 3-4 days after the application and is typically finished in 8-10 days at most. Many clients are finished peeling at the 6 day marker.
