A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.
Glycolic/Mandelic/Lactic Peels: $75
Our estheticians will choose the appropriate peel for your needs. Mandelic acid's antibacterial properties are perfect for sensitive skin, Lactic acids are perfect for aging or dehydrated skin and Glycolic acid are perfect for all skin types including acneic skin.
Jessner Peel: $150-$175
A Jessner peel is a mid-level peel that is used to treat photoaging, sun damage, acne, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma and laxity. Jessner's solution was originally formulated by Dr. Max Jessner and has been in use for over 100 years. Jessner is a combination of four key formulation to address many skin concerns through this one peel.
The chemical is applied to your skin in layers and then is self neutralized within 8-10 hours. The top layer of your skin peels off as a result, revealing newer, more youthful-looking skin. Flaking/peeling will occur on day 3 and can last up to two weeks. Many clients, however, complete peeling at the 7-day marker.
